hello everybody
i've a question about ad design
i'm using 0.18tech with 1.8V supply voltage.
So input range is....I think approximately 1Vpp (differential)
and 1lsb is 244uV.
Is it OK for 12bit?
I think it's too small for 12bit A/D.

Before that, I'm using 035 tech with 3.3V supply
And differential VFS is 2Vpp.
1lsb is 488uV. That was ok.
:D
I don't know whether it is ok or not
because of so small lsb
somebody help me~ please

Thanks in advance.

I think that the value of 1lsb is too small.

1v-vpp is not a big issue,
1.8v power supply is neither a big issue

An easy way to think about it as follows (considering compatible specs):
Since you had designed 3.3V 12 bit and now you will design 1.8V 12 bit, important think is that your input voltage span halved so your design considerations to design with 1.8V will be like you are designing 13 bit with 3.3V. What I mean as design considerations is your error budget will be half (due to offsets, charge injections, gain errors etc) of 3.3V 12 bit design.

Another words if your input voltage span drops by two than A/D error budget drops to half too. Design get 1 bit more precise.
