how can I measure an inductor

inductance adapter dvm

Does any body can help me measuring an inductor? I want to measure its inductance or its electrical caracteristics

one method to measure an inductance is to use that in timing ckt or oscillator ckt and then measure time or frequency to get the value of inductance
 


u can use LCR meter for low frequencies and a network analyzer at higher frequencies.
