I am looking to build a controllable (with a microcontroller) power supply with adjustable constant current with small power (< 100 mA; < 25V). By controllable I mean that setting some PWM output on the MC should adjust the voltage on the load to give the desired constant current.
Using Arduino as an example should give something like this:
- analogWrite(1, 100) gives 2mA on a 5kOhm load;
- analogWrite(1, 150) gives 3mA on a 5kOhm load;
etc.
(These are random values above to illustrate my question.)
It should work with different loads too.
