VFD rating isn't the point, question is what's the actual input voltage the VFD is running from.
Generally, you need to set the VFD motor parameters accordingly. The motor insulation must be sufficient for the higher peak voltage, shouldn't be a problem with usual industrial motors. Motors can be often wired for higher (wye circuit) or lower (delta circuit) input voltage. It should surely use wye circuit if available.
