Hello,
This topic has been asked several times here (such as in 'short frame of ldpc decoder for DVB-T2' -which is a different standard but shares the same parameters), however a solution is still to be reached. :bang:
Matlab Communication Toolbox does include a function, called 'dvbs2ldpc', which serves to implement a parity check matrix for DVB-S2 standard which is of length 64800. The standard accepts a shorter codeword version of 16200 which is however not included in Matlab's example.
After changing the codeword length in the original 'dvbs2ldpc' function and the tables from annex B from tables in annex C in the standard, the resulting BER curve is not as it should be (it should look like the one for normal transmission mode -codeword length 64800, but it has a completely different shape).
Could I be forgetting something? Could you please give some light to this issue?
Many thanks in advance, and best regards.
