sdram control on video

i need to design the sdram control which is to used video?
three(R,G,B)bytes should be put in the same blank or in the different blanks, which is better?

sdram control on video

i thinks that r,g ,b should be put in the same bank

sdram control on video

why ? you should give me more details

Re: sdram control on video

I think your design is for overdriving feature. If you want to reduce the operation frequency, you have to pay more data bus (pin number) and SDRAMs. R,G,B are total 24 bits. If the input is two channel, the total number of bit will be 48 bits. As I know, the data bus of SDRAM is 16 bits or 32 bits. It is better that you have to shrink your data stored in SDRAM to 32 bits. And you must have a buffer to store the data temporarily.

Re: sdram control on video

I think pu them in a same bank is better, so you can access them sequentially.
