Is it possible to connect a sine wave of 8 bits, to a dac whose input channel is 12 bits?

Yes - you should be able to just do some gain to increase the bit size (or just append some bits)

If the 8-bit sine wave has a higher sample rate than you want for the 12-bit DAC, more bits can be created with filtering.
