interfacing decoder Ht12d and relays

hi all,

i am a newbie...

how can i interface the ht12d and relays..

here i will connect motors to relays the the output of ht12d should be given to relays ... i am confused about how to connect the decoder output to relays .

The outputs of the HT12D cannot drive relays directly. You need a transistor driver to drive a relay whose base can be connected to the HT12D output pin.

And remember to limit the current to the bases of the transistor and choose transistors that can handle the relay current.
