In your post is missing info about the circuit that the component is in, a photo from a different angle that the number of leads could be seen, not a same photo with different zoom level....

Here is the drawing, with the suspected Japanese marking. According to the semicon tester that I used, it is a PNP silicon BJT. The packaging is SOT-89. It is used with KA3505 "Supervisory Circuits PC SMPS Sup. IC".
