difference between distributed and lumped model

which is more efficient and what model should we consider .or is it like lumped model will be misleading as we go to higher frequencies.
 

Exactly, the use of such models depends on the frequency. The simplest model is valid at low frequencies. And the longest model is valid up to higher frequency. More segments -- better model, more adequate at higher frequencies, but slower analysis.
The most precise, strict model consists of infinite number of RC sections, and may be represented by some hyperbolic functions. The precise model is not easy to use, so in most cases it is better and much faster to have lumped models. But always we have to know the limits of lumped models.
