Matrix keyboard, i need help :(((

Now i didn't understand this matrix keyboard working. do we programme outs of PIC and it becomes ground? Anyone can help me?Thanks for helpings friends.[/b]

hi

the idea behind matrix keyboard with pic ........is scanning

for your matrix for example u have 3 columns and 3 rows

u will need 6 pins from the pic 3 inputs to read which putton is clicked

3 output to make the loop of the scanning
