why we donot hidden the encryption algorithm
 

confusion

In case of known terminals and you need to secure data while trasmission, encryption needs not to be hidden.

But if intruder can scan your crypt logic, that time you have to hide.

Normally properitary logics are hidden or at unaccessed mode.

Not all encryption logics are open

..
