How do i Fix Cadence Hot keys?

cadence hotkeys

my hotkeys in cadence won't work (in schematic editor and layout editor) :|

Can someone tell me how to fix it?

You can define bindkeys in .cdsinit (and files loaded in .cdsinit). Copy the sample .cdsinit file to your home directory and you will get a set of default bindkeys(after restarting icfb). The sample .cdsinit file is "$CDS_INST_DIR/tools/dfII/cdsuser/.cdsinit".

cadence hotkey not working

vi your $home/.cdsinit
and add

;;;;;
load("CDSDIR/tools/dfII/samples/local/leBindKeys.il")
load("CDSDIR/tools/dfII/samples/local/schBindKeys.il")

Replace the CDSDIR with real path
