hey folks!!

can anyone ellobrate on the diffeence between WiFi and WiMAX!!!!

The very basic difference is that wifi uses equipment that follows the 802.11 standard and wimax follows the 802.16 standard.

802.11 has been around for about ten years and so most modern computers have it built in. It will take an external box to do 802.16 these days.
