Does anyone knows if it's possible or familiar with such component?

It is obviously possible. There is enough bandwidth at 5GHZ for any common type of modulation.

Depending on which country you are in the radio regulator may impose requirements such as supporting Transmit Power Control and Dynamic Frequency Selection. In some countrys a license is required to use some of the 802.11a frequencys.
