Dear All,
Can I try mains frequency as the timing device for refreshing small led matrix?
Can you suggest a tested scheme?
Like that can I use a 555 oscillator for controlling scroll speed?
I shall appreciate any help.
Best Regards

Vicky29,
I normally stick to mcs51 series, the cheapest here.
For the block diagram and even the source (sclock.asm) try https://www.techkits.com.
But how does it matter? I wanted to discuss the algorythm, ram allocations, and limitations of such approach depending on column length, message length, speed range etc.
Best Regards
