Hi all,

I am checking out on some of the V.23/Bell 202 FSK modem datasheet(CMX624) and wonder why detection of Caller-id was not listed as one of it's features?

I have spent some time looking at caller-id specs and assuming the caller-id is based on Bellcore FSK, shouldn't those FSK modem be listed as Caller ID decoder as well?

Are there any other Caller ID standards besides the BellCore(U.S) and DTMF (used in Europe)? What about V.23, are there any Caller ID standards based on V.23?

Does anyone happens to know the Caller ID standard of country in Asia like Singapore and Malaysia?

Thank you all and have a nice day.

caller ID not just the demodulator but the exetraction of the trans. data and rearrange to display on the displeay or LCD
