hi i'm new here..and i need some help..

i need to design a receiver here using ADS
i have designed 90°hybrid coupler..and at the end of port 3 and port 4 i need to connect diodes parallel with each other. My question is what are the suitable diodes model for this system to detect baseband signal?can any body help me.?by the wa i'm designing at frequency 2.4 GHz.

i got confused and all mixed out whether to choose 1)Schottky Mixer diodes (model :HSMS 8101 from ads library) or 2)Schottky Barrier Diodes (model hsms 2820)..or others diodes.Any solution and suggestion?

thanx

You need to use small signal diodes. Look up the data sheets to determine which one is designed for microwave use. Power diodes have very large capacitances and will not work.
