    Obtaining D flip-flop mosfet-level schematics from CMOS layout

    Could anyone help to derive D flip-flop mosfet-level schematics from the following CMOS layout described in this conference document : Open Cell Library in 15nm FreePDK Technology ?

    I suppose somebody -could- hand-trace all the connections
    and provide you a schematic, but since it's a "Free" PDK
    why not just go grab a copy and ***** open the cell
    library? Have you determined that the schematic does not
    exist, in it?

    Yes, the corresponding schematics (DFFRNQ_X1) is missing from FreePDK.

    In https://research.ece.ncsu.edu/eda/tu...ut-tutorial-3/ , it is stated that
    the tut3cells library contains "DFFRNQ_X1".

    DEFINE tut3cells /afs/eos.ncsu.edu/lockers/research/ece/wdavis/tech/ece546/tut3cells_15nm

    Note: I have already registered and downloaded FreePDK15, but the package does not contain
    any tut3cells_15nm library

    That looks like a private "tutorial" library for a specific
    college course.

    What do you find under the FreePDK? Any schematics
    at all? Maybe a DFFRNQ (dffrnq) minus the "X1" (which
    looks to be an tutorial-specific, maybe modified, DFF?

    I have already use various search keyword for "grep -ir <keyword>" , but it still give me nothing.

    You should be looking for the nangate library that utilizes the freePDK. The PDK itself won't have any schematics, naturally.

    You should be looking for the nangate library that utilizes the freePDK.
    Would you be able to share a direct link to the mentioned library which contains the schematics for "DFFRNQ_X1" ?
