Working on a project with my son and was going to use standard automotive relays but they were really large (would handle way more current than we need). I ran across some of these DPST coil relays and ordered them but I do not see any polarity (we will be running 12V). Does Polarity matter?

Hi,

If there isno clear polarity sign or the free wheeling diode sign, then I assume polarity does not matter.

Thank you. I did test and polarity did not make any difference.
