When looking for calling conventions for IAR EWB 2.28A rev compiler it was noticed that 2 of them are described (ICCA90 is the version 1 standard , ICCAVR is newest) . ICCA90 parameter passing is well defined but not for ICCAVR . For second compilation option it is said - compiler can change order of parameters stored in registers to achieve better efficiency and utilization.
Does somebody know strict calling conventions for ICCAVR compilation option ?

Thanks in advance

Hello artem!

The file CAVR.PDF (avr 2.26a, attached) says:
The #pragma type_attribute controls the calling conventions of functions.

Hope this helps!

Sorry artem,
the PDF is 2.28a, not 2.26a :)
