Hi Mentor,

I want to make a project Water Level Controller and want to know about different type of sensors used for UnderGRound Tank and OverHead Tank.
Are there sensors which show the Upper Level and Lower Level of Water in OverHead Tank. What are those sensors?

Plz Help

Thanks in advance.

I am not too sure how those systems work but you could do one of the following systems.
1.) Vertical level detection with a hall effect sensor located above a floating magnet
2.) Vertical level detection with multiple hall effect sensors located in parallel to the floating magnet
3.) Optical reflection to map distance to intensity

Capacitive sensors perhaps.
