Hi,
Please help me to design band stop filter to 3.5 GHz with RC circuit,,,
help me please
Urgent

Are you sure you want to implement such a filter with a RC network ?
Depending from your specs you should evaluate to use lumped LC components or a distribuited component approach (microstrip).

An op-amp based active filter is not practical at this frequency.

i want to make band stop filter with software ADS, because i make too the simulation. the band stop filter i want to make is passive filter with RC and the filter will work 3.5 GHz.
Can i do it ?
please help me, this is for my skripsi, for get bachelor degree. please
what must can i do ?

the bandwith maybe 100 MHz

the bandwidth maybe 100 MHz, can you help me ?

What is the bandwidth ??
Ti filter tool will help, you have to see weather it works fine with such a high frequency!!!

The bandwith 100 MHz, can you help me,,,?
do you have ebook about design passive filter ?

Dear fauzi hiday ,
You may be *say exactly the problem ? Or you may be upload file your simualtion. Have you want design Hardware using RC?
...
Me too, I like research DSP, especially is designed filters.
All people will help you,
Thanks,

At 3,5 GHz forget to use RC components to build a bandstop filter.
You can use concentrate elements ( inductors, capacitors ) if you don't care about attenuation or lines if you don't care about dimensions.
Use pieces of coaxial cables to have resonant cells, coupled through reactive elements.
You can find thousand of books with formulas and examples.

where i can find books ?
do you have ebook about filter ?

yes i want to make band stop filter for wimax in frequency 3.5 GHz,,
can you tell me how the best circuit just with use RC ?
thank's,,
please, this is for my thesis

It will be very tricky to make a bandstop/ bandpass filter using only capacitors and resistors.

Could this LC tank be the sort of filter that will work for you?

The resonant frequency is 3.56 GHz (shown at bottom right).

yes i know that, look at the picture.
This is my circuit

but i can't find the result,,,
i must using RC..
what are you opinion ?
please help me

what software you use to design ?

why must i forget use RC ?
RC components can't to build bandstop filter ?
but i must RC components,,please help me
give me solution

Here is my simulation of a twin-tee bandstop filter, 3.5 GHz.

The software is Falstad's simulator. Free to download and use at:

The rolloff curve seems gradual. Often it is shown having a narrower bandwidth. I tried attaching resistors (50 ohm, etc.), at various places, in an effort to create a narrow bandwidth. But none worked.
