how to read .datfile in matlab

hi all
my name is rizwan
and now i am going to read a .dat file in physionet
i try to get the database from Physionet.com

but when i downloaded it
i cannot open it
everyone withe xperience please help?


i try to open the file in matlab using this coding

load 101.dat
but still cannot read the file

plz help

The MIT-BIH data base is written in 212 format coding.

You can use the special toolbox (wfdb) in Matlab to read every file from physionet
