hello all,

Step down the 230v ac to 110v dc is possible without any step down transforemer by using the DIAC or TRIAC.


Is this possible tell me the circuit diagram.
 

Please remember that to design a circuit, the currents are also important to be specified and/or expected.
In your case, knowing the load could be enough.

Hi,

I just build the converter only for the testing purpose. so the required current rating is 1Amp.
