Thyristor help pls

could anybody help me add a list on Non-sensitive and sensitive gate SCRs??

the only non-sensitive gate i know is S6015L..... is 5P4J scr a non-sensetive gate or a sensitive gate??? does it make a big difference with the sensetives and non-sensetives???

im planing to use this SCR on a CDI(capacitive discharge ignition).... ive seen 5P4J scrs in CDI's.. but havent seen an S6015L yet...

hope somebody out there could help me....

Re: Thyristor help pls

sensitive gate SCRs have very low trigger current. And must be use resistor between gate and cathode.
Non sensitive gate SCR have high trigger current(minumum 10-50 times higher than sensite gate). Some types dont need resistor between gate and cathode.
