Flash Memory Programming (Urgent Help)

Hello everybody. I have an urgent problem and I would appreciate very much if someone can help me and share his/her experience.

I currently have a system with a SuperH processor that is connected to an Spansion flash memory.

I am reading the datasheet but still cant understand how to program and erase the memory.

It seems it uses the "Common Flash Memory Interface" so if anyone has experience with this, please help me.
