How to split a Harley/Colpitts Oscillator in Negative Resistance Analysis?

From a documentation of HP, it's said that most of the oscillators can be analyzed in both feedback and negative resistance models, I'm wondering how should I split a Hartley/Colpitts oscillator in the Negative Resistance model while still leaving a harmonic component alone?

Here are figures from that document, I think the key problem for me is that: I can't find a PORT for the transistor that having equal in-going and out-going current.
