I have a DDR2 chip that has spec as DDR2-667 and data width = x8.

What does the 667 mean? 667MHz? for 1 date line or for the 8 data line?

if 1 data line = 667MHz, the data rate will be 667MBps
if 8 data line = 667MHz, the data rate will be 83.375MBps.

What is the clock input for the DDR2 chip? 667/2 = 333.5MHz?

For DDR1, the bus multiplier = 1
For DDR2, the bus multiplier = 2
For DDR3, the bus multiplier = 4

What does the bus multiplier mean? Can give example to the clock rate, data rate, etc.

Thanks.

Hi

DDR2-xxx denotes data transfer rate.
