[SOLVED] Help reqiured to understand RS485 repeaters

Hi all....I'm trying to understand what is rs485 repeaters and how to implement repeaters in rs485 network.
my questions are:
What is the difference between RS485 Transceiver and Rs485 repeater?
2. Is RS485 transceiver can be used as RS485 Repeaters? if yes how?
3. How to implement RS485 Repeaters in Rs 485 network?
4. any ic for rs485 repeaters or designing rs485 repeaters.
I searched on google about this thing, but i didn't get anything from it.
Please help me to understand this think.

Transceiver mean Transmitter and receiver.
RS485 is a half duplex and multi drop communication system.
it works well up to 50 meter after that if you want to increase the distance you got to required
boost or amplify the signal here the repeater comes in.
as you want send the signal you need booster in our TV or FM transmission.
that all my understanding. some one can give you more detailed and technical description.
