I have to design a mixer using MATLAB. I am new to MATLAB and dont know how to find the sum or difference (of 2 different frequencies sine and cosine wave) i.e mixer operations using MATLAB syntax. Please tell me the syntax or any links related to my problem?

Mixer is a multiplier. setup a notch filter (say IF freq for communication recievers). Filter out the required component.
