Hi everyone, I have another problem, again...
I have obtained a CDL netlist and a spice netlist from my verilog netlist. I used v2lvs to generate the CDL and SPICE netlist.
Firstly I tried to import the CDL netlist into IC5.
File-->Import-->CDL, then I tried to input the CDL into a library which contains all the std cell schematic. The tool can find all the schematics of the cells in my CDL netlist. But the CDL importing is failed. The error msg shows "
...
Found 'STDcellschem'.'AOI221X1':'symbol'.
Did not find CDF for 'STDcellschem.AOI221X1'.
Using terminal order as obtained from the databse...
instName->'XU306' is created.
...
It seems like the CDF of the STD cell is missing or something...
Does anybody experience this before?
I know there is a CDF manual in cadec doc. But I m not sure whether I need to create a CDF for the STD cells.
Pls help me...
thanks a million...
