one shot timer (555 in Monostable mode) the power saving alternatives

Dear Sir,

normally we use 555 in monostable mode.
The RC constantly drain current to the ground, and 555 takes up 100 uA current constantly.

I just wonder if there is another more recent design which has smaller package, consume less current which gives a defined pulse width when a trigger is received

What about the 74HC125 or something from the CD-4000
series? Not likely smaller (though maybe there is a Tiny
Logic version) but most likely lower power. Use more timing
resistor and smaller timing capacitor to minimize power.
