NAND and NOR Flash memories

Could any body tell me where I will get the thorough explanation on NOR and NAND flash memories like internal structures, memory capacity and examples of both the types?

Could you tell any part no. I want memory of max 8Mb but i think NAND flash is not available in such a lower range of memory. is it so?
 

NAND are used for high memory storage. In 2007 The lowest being 1Gb by toshiba. There are few more companies. but it is not worth to produce Low capacity memory as the dye casting cost itself is high.
 

So you think I should go for NOR flash then?
 

I did not understand your requirement. Why do you want to interface / use NAND or NOR, when SD and MMC card are present for small memory requirement.

Is there any specific requirement

Lowest of NOR is 128Mb

You get much lower than that but i dont know the availability in open market.
 

I want to interface it to micro controller and drive LCD using micro controller. I don't want to use flash card. For storing graphics and multilingual data i want to use flash with lower memory.
