i'm making a frequency meter using PIC16f877a with its output to be displayed in a 4-digit multiplexed 7-segment. I find it hard configuring timer 0 (since I have to use it than timer 1 or 2) to count in a second. the idea is I have to display the frequency in 0.1 second than 1 second since it would be too long. can anyone help me in configuring timer 0 to count the frequency in 0.1 second? i'm using mikroC PRO for my compiler. i already finished a pulse counter, but i need a frequency counter. can anyone help me out? thank you...
