LVS & ERC error in IC5

lvs job has failed

Hi, after extracted the layout, i run the LVS or ERC, they also display fail message, please help me.

analysis job failed

The details is that i fellow copy the directory from /tools/cds5/tools.lnx86/dfII/sample/tutorial/le/cell_design to my home (root account) directory, then use the "basic" library cell view of "nand2' & "Inv" i create a 2-input XOR.
After extracted view is generated, use it to compare with schematic of 2-input XOR and run LVS, that dispalying this message:

I also follow the cell design tutorial and fail in LVS,

hey its nt clear .... cud u plz explain again !

Lvs checking is vry difficult ..
Can any1 give brief explanation ....like how to proceed !!

I am using hercules for LVS !!
