Hello All,

I have one query about BLDC Motor.
For 350 Watt motor current drawn by motor is 2 to 3A withot load.
If we limit the current at 1A, then what is effect on Motor run ?
Is Motor run properly ?
Or is it try to reach upto it normal current ?

-Regards,
Pranay

Dear

The no load current is taken by the motor to overcome inertia and losses in stator and rotor. So if you try to limit this current the motor will run slower like it is under load.

Hello Sir,

Thanks for your reply.
We are try to test current limiting for BLDC motor for cascaded loop with speed PID.
Actually we are testing for limit the current for 1A or 2A.
But Motor speed control is not able to regulate by accelerometer and it is automatically Increasing or decreasing the speed.

What shoild be reason for it?
Have you done the Cascaded PID for current and speed in BLDC?

Please reply.

-Thanks & Regards,
