Hello everyone, I am knew to the board.
I am working on this project now and having problems.
What i want to do is to have a IR laser over my door and whenever someone walks in it breaks the beam and someone transfer that into the computer and have it execute and command or have a status that my program can find.
So simple break down of the simple overview,
1. The laser's path to the receiver is broken
2. When its broken, it executes a command on my computer
Simple, but so hard. Any advice?
I have a basic background in electronics and programming, so thats not a problem. I just do not know what to look for.
