which compile is the best select for arm on linux?
 

my ARM dev run on uClinux .
i'm use gcc for programming.
 

Here is one good reason to use GNU tools: THEY ARE FREE!! Of course, you can buy a toolkit from Mcgraigor which can get you started since these tools are not easy to learn. The make files themselves can be quite tricky. The options to be used in compilers are too many and not everything is explained well.

If you have the money to spend, try the development toolkit offered by ARM. It works very well, too.
