What are the settings for MAC and PHY loopback tests?

hi,

i am using FEC of 5282 processor.
i have to do two loopback tests...that are-->

1. MAC loopback.
2. PHY loopback.

i know what settings i have to do for both the tests.

i need to know hwo to test these loopbacks...as there is only one MII data register.
i.e. MMFR register...

and hwo to tet the PHY loopback??
