Hi all,

I have a cheap Chinese soldering station that has a termopar K type as a temperature sensor in the heating element.
Now a bought a new soldering iron that has the same specifitcation as Hakko 907 soldering iron, temperature sensor +- 50 ohms in ambient temperature at +- 20ºC.
Question: anybody knows this type of temperature sensor?
I'm building a soldering station unity and I'd like to use this new soldering iron.

Rgds
