Hi All,

Could anyone please upload the documents for assigning electronic component's part numbers.

Part numbers for an inventory system will depend on your actual internal requirements

For some a straight numerical code is enough 12345678 others like to break it up t parts and groups so 1000-0001 1000-1001 2000-0001 etc. Others prefer alpha numeric like C0603.2200 R0805.1001

There is no universal rule
