well, if you want a walkman phone, two brands are great, sonyericson and motorola. Very nice speaker. Motorola brands are very dependable and reliable. It lasts for several years. It depends on the function for the model that you want.
if you want an elite looking phone, it's samsung. Plus, its price does not degrade as fast as nokia.
but on top of it, the best i can think of is the blackberry. It has everything that you need. It's a little expensive though.
If you are looking for sound and camera - Then go for Sony Ericcson
If you want highly user friendly then NOKIA
Samsung is also good but with lesset features.
Motorolla is good in all aspects except for the battery life.
More over Motorolla and Nokia are selling brand new phones whcih are just upgrades of previous olden day mobile phones.
To quote - Radiomoto is a new series but the latest addition to this series has less features than a Sony Ericcson series with camera...
Also Microphone of Motorolla is having some problem for me. You can check in www.gsmarena.com - a forum with ratings and user views for all the mobiles of all brands.
