How to distinguish if the given impulse response system is IIR or FIR?

how to distinguish the given impulse response system is IIR or FIR ?

If your impulse response system includes a numerator (zeros) and denominator (poles), then is a IIR system (recursive).

If your impulse response system includes a numerator (zeros) only, then is a FIR system

IIR systems which has a possibility that their impulse response can become infinity and hence those impulse response with a pole are IIR systems
if only the diagram is given then you can find IIR systems by the feedback that would be present....

FIR systems do not have poles or feedbacks...
