Help me please...how to dimention the bowtie antennas?

Hello everyone...I have been given an assignment project in the dimention bowtie antennas for detecting frequency 24.15GHz and 34.3GHz. But since I'm totally new to antennas,I have no idea how to start up my project...Can u all please help me and guide me please?? Tks very much
 

Refer to Balanis's Antenna handbook or search IEEE for relevant papers.

As Amihomo mentioned, check existing sources. The bowtie is used in many applications and there are lots of articles outside IEEE. You may also ask yourself the question why you should use a bowtie instead of a thin straight conductor type of dipole.

I assume you have access to some simulation tool. You probably need to feed from a coaxial feed, so you also have to implement a balun function.
