TCP client on GPRS Problem

Dear all ,

I am facing a big problem using wavecom os .


when I call wip_TCPClientCreate inside the Inner Event handle (using adl_waitEvent) , there is no event come !!!!!!! although I am putting a event handler !!!

a big delay happen with no response


I am using Multitasking , please i need ur help

Try to subscribe a timer inside the Inner Event handler with a small delay (1 tick) and call wip_TCPClientCreate when the timer handler executes.

I tried what you said to me and now the Open TCP client API works well but there is a small delay
reach up to 30 second to give an error that it cannot connect to server can this time be reduced ?
 

I tried that a lot but there is no events comming
 

check whether its possible to ping to the server directly from the system through Wireless LAN.
Also check whether your modem is connected to the network correctly.
 

Yes my modem is connected to the network correctly because I am having AT commands to connect to client and it connected well and then i can receive the events but when I use TCP create client API inside a task inner event this problem is appearing (that is no events come although the client socket is created)
 

Any Ideas please.
 

You are asking about an unspecified GPRS modem and some software "Open TCP client API" without telling what it is. I wonder, if any Edaboard member knows what you are talking about?

Iam talking A bout Wavecom module (open AT)
