What's the best THD for UPS?

Hi,

I need to use a ups for a pump.
But what's the best THD for it?(5% is a good for it?)

In my understanding, online UPS is referring to a design, where the load is permanently powered through the inverter. So the load will be supplied without any voltage drop in case of a power loss. It's mainly required for electronic equipment, that doesn't tolerate even short voltage drops, e.g a computer.
 

IEC recommends less THD less than 8%.
