Dear Friends i am tring to find motion sensor like there is cellphones (like Iphone N95 etc..)
i have try to google it and all i could find is IR motion detector
could you please help me out ? ? ?

tnx, you were verry helpfull .

Several companies make them, as previously mentioned ST, and other companies like Analog Devices and Freescale Among others. If you are looking to buy 1 or 2 of them, I like to use www.sparkfun.com. They keep a bunch of stock on Gyros and Accelerometers for products that they design, and they sell their stock at a pretty decent price if you are only buying a few.

An accelerometer is most likely what is in your phone, as a gyro measures rotational acceleration

Hi i want to know for helicopter application,,,which gyro scope will be better.

One that has a reasonable range, compared to what angles you expect the platform (helicopter) to reach... i.e. probably won't be flying upside-down.

And one that has an interface that compliements (or is easily adaptable) to your exisitng control mechanism. For example, if you want to use a microcontoller with a 0-5V analog input range, then you don't want a gyro/accelerometer with a PWM output, or a 0-12V output voltage range, etc.
