hello..
can anyone plz tell me what is the basic difference between the schematic layout of multimeter and voltmeter... ??

Re: schematic pcb layout

voltmeter can measure only voltage. The word "multi" implies that multimeter is a combination of many measuring instruments. in other words a multimeter can measure voltage, current, resistance etc. So the circuits of voltmeter and multimeter and are different that is why their schematic layout is different.

Re: schematic pcb layout

can i use the schematic layout of multimeter as a reference design for designing a voltmeter...
can anyone help me search the reference design for designing a voltmeter..

Hey

The above link can be of great help Thankyou...

But Can u plz suggest me a schematic for the same i.e. Voltmeter with microcontroller having an inbuilt ADC.

I right nw noticed that the schematic posted is of dc voltmeter and i am designing an ac voltmeter...
can anyone suggest where can i get a reference schematic for an ac voltmeter with inbuilt ADC and 7 segment display as i want to desing a 3 & 1/2 digital ac voltmeter...
