I want use cadence to design CMOS image sensor.
But how to simulate photodiode in standard cmos tech?
dose the PDK or CDK support photodiode ?
if not , how to do?
thank you

PDK for standard CMOS does not usually have a photodiode as the passivation process on standard CMOS is not optimal for light transmission but some processes do support a photodiode.
It is easy enough to simulate a photodiode with the equivalent circuit below

where IP is the current induced by photons, Io,Vo is output current and voltage, C is junction capacitance, Rsh is shunt resistance and Rs the series resistance.

Thank you!
However, how to give the value of Rs etc.

That would require detailed knowledge of the process you are using. If it is just for a learning exercise, then you could get these values from the Spice model of a commercial discrete device.
